Yes, Pixel Pro Quo is built on WordPress. When we got into web development we loved giving our clients a flexible framework built on an open-source platform. Unfortunately, many of our clients had difficulty creating a quality web-presence because they felt WordPress was too difficult to manage. We built Pixel Pro Quo in an attempt to simplify some of the elements of WordPress.
Your Pixel Pro Quo website comes with some simplified features, like a minimalist dashboard, and customization features that should make it easier than ever to customize your website.
Yes, by signing up to the Pro plan listed above, you'll have access to WooCommerce, the most popular e-commerce plugin on the web today.
By default, WooCommerce allows users to process payments via Paypal. We also make a plugin available to process payments via Stripe. Note that transactions processed with Stripe must be done over an SSL connection. Our configuration allows you to use the Pixel Pro Quo SSL certificate for transactions on your checkout page.
You can always contact us through the support tab when you are logged in to make sure your settings are properly configured to accept payments via Stripe.
No, we only charge for hosting your site and to provide access to the plugins you need to get your store off the ground. We don't take a percentage of your online sales. Be aware that your payment processor, either Paypal or Stripe, does charge a transaction fee for online sales.
Community and focus.
There's nothing wrong with WordPress.com, and we love the WordPress software. But WordPress.com focuses on blogs and bloggers. We focus on professionals and businesses.
We strive to simplify and streamline a lot of the WordPress user experience, in addition to providing client management, document management, and e-commerce tools, to make it easier for business professionals to use their website to make an impact and manage their business.
